Biography

Robert Ryan graduated from Limerick College of Art and Design in 1987. He lived in Copenhagen and London before returning to Ireland 1994. He has numerous successful solo exhibition since, and has been featured in many prestigious group exhibitions in Ireland and abroad. His work is in many public and private collections. 
Ryan’s allegorical paintings borrows qualities from the European old master tradition. In every image a generic hybrid creature is central. Ryan work celebrated the commonality between mankind and all other creatures.

Biography

Lorcan Cassidy ia a graduate from NCAD with a degree in Fine Art Sculpture and Expanded practices. He was a short term member of Ormond Studios, an artist run space in the heart of Dublin city, for eight months and has now just started as a full member.

As an artist his work revolves around creating alternate realities and then making/illustrating objects/artefacts/creatures/specimens from these fictitious worlds. Another focus of his art practice is on modes of display especially in terms of the museum context. The wunderkammer has also been a direct influence in regards to his art work. What drew him to these cabinets of curiosity was the sense of wonder and awe they inspired with the various objects they held, the curios and oddities, even in spite their contents not always being entirely genuine.

Biography
Gemini born 1980 is a Kenyan mixed media artist who uses various art forms to express herself. Self importance and preservation of ourselves as well as the world around us acts as the basis on her work. Gemini has exhibited extensively both locally in Kenya and Internationally.

Her degree in Interactive Multimedia Technologies and Diploma in Photography made her appreciate the unique quality of hand painting in relation to media prints.

Biography
Eleanor is an a visual artist and educator living and working in Galway.
She is fascinated by the human psyche and how the image provides us a way of connecting to self and other. This relationship is recorded contained and witnessed in the image.

She is interested in drawing both as a process and as a object that holds a space for constructing and exploring narrative and developing and reflecting on our collective and personal symbolism.

Biography

Born in Ireland, Kathryn Maguire lives and works in Dublin. She studied in Cork (Bachelor in Fine Art Sculpture, Cork College of Art & Design, Cork) and Dublin (Master of Art in the Contemporary World, National College of Art & Design). Biography

Ruth Hogger is an artist who works intuitively with free association through collage. Triggered by symbolic imagery, metaphors surface from the unconscious, and merge into scenes resembling dreamscapes. Her process draws from Freud’s free association, Jung’s work on active imagination, and her current MA studies in Art Therapy.
