Biography

David Kavanagh is a Cork based artist who graduated from Crawford College of Art and Design in 2004. He has exhibited around Ireland and has work in private collections internationally. His work is primarily drawing based, utilising ink and paint on handmade papers. He creates elaborate worlds which often use seemingly mundane and innocent imagery to grapple with difficult scientific concepts.
